Marvel Rivals Characters
This is the full Rivaldle character database. Every hero in this list is a possible answer in every game mode. Click any card to read a full profile — comic origin, in-game role, ability breakdown, recommended teammates, and tips for spotting that hero across the five Rivaldle modes. Heroes are grouped below by their Marvel Rivals role, since role tends to be the strongest filter when you are trying to guess the hero of the day.
The current Rivaldle roster covers the entire Marvel Rivals launch lineup along with the heroes added in the first round of post-launch content updates. If a hero exists in Marvel Rivals, they are in this list. We update the database within a few days of any roster patch. If you spot a hero who should be here but isn't, please email rivaldleguesser@gmail.com.
Vanguard Front-line tanks
Vanguards are the largest-HP role in the game. They open fights, soak damage, and carve space for their Duelists to work. If today's Rivaldle answer has an HP value above 500, the answer is almost certainly a Vanguard. Twelve heroes share the role.
Duelist Damage dealers
Duelists are the largest role group, and they cluster tightly around 250–300 HP. If a Rivaldle clue points to a low-HP, high-damage character, you are almost always looking at a Duelist. Twenty-six heroes share the role, which makes it the role least narrowed by a green role cell on Classic Mode — pair the role hint with HP and origin year for faster solves.
Strategist Healers and utility
Strategists keep the team alive and shape engagements with their ultimates. They sit in the lower-HP bracket alongside Duelists, but the role cell distinguishes them in Classic Mode. Eleven heroes share the role.
How we wrote these profiles
Every character profile on Rivaldle is hand-written by the team behind the site. We are not pulling from a wiki and we are not running a content farm. Each profile is intended to be useful to two distinct readers: a Marvel Rivals player who wants strategy notes on the hero, and a casual fan who wants comic context for the character. We do not paste in Wikipedia summaries. We do not generate the text. If a fact in a profile is wrong, we are the ones who got it wrong, and we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
Profiles are organized in five sections. Origin gives the character's first comic appearance and the creators behind it. Comic history covers the runs and arcs we consider most important to understanding who this character is on the page. In Marvel Rivals describes the role and feel of the character in the live game. Abilities walks through the kit. Spotting in Rivaldle is mode-by-mode advice for identifying that hero in the puzzle.
